The Epidural Positioning Device (EPD) is a patented device designed to improve patient safety and comfort during epidural procedures by positioning the patient correctly. It ensures proper cervical, thoracic, and lumbar flexion, which helps avoid complications caused by improper positioning. The EPD includes manually controlled supports for the chest, arms, and head, accommodating various body types while keeping the back stable during epidural placement. It is suitable for use in operating rooms, labor and delivery suites, and pain centers.

The EPD Package 2 includes the Epidural Positioning Device (EPD) and the Labor Delivery Stand (LDS) for enhanced versatility. The LDS offers adjustable foot support and a clamp for securing the EPD, allowing for a range of adjustments similar to an OR table.

  • EPD: Adjustable face rest, 6-position arm rest, interchangeable torso cushions, and adjustable torso cushion heights.
  • LDS: Adjustable footrest, positive locking clamp, and medical-grade casters.
