The Smith & Nephew DYONICS 7205832 Access 40 Liters High Flow Insufflator is a medical device used to provide gas to the abdominal cavity during laparoscopic surgery. It is designed to maintain the pneumoperitoneum by regulating the flow and pressure of carbon dioxide gas1.

 

The Smith & Nephew DYONICS 7205832 Access 40 Liters High Flow Insufflator has two CO2 outputs that each pump 20 liters per minute, saving insufflation time. The system can be used with or without heat for flexibility in setting optimal conditions for the patient; heat reduces recovery time by lowering the risk of hypothermia during laparoscopy. An optional, reusable in-line gas warmer and disposable tubing make Access 40 more cost-effective than other systems
