Device Description:

The Monica AN24 is a small, battery-powered device for L&D surveillance of fetal

well-being. The AN24  is designed to passively monitor Fetal Heart Rate (FHR)),

maternal heart rate (MHR) and Uterine Activity ILIA) during pregnancy and can be

used at any time from > 36 completed weeks gestation in laboring patients. The

AN24 TM is suitable for singleton pregnancies only.

 

How it works:

The Monica AN24 when combined with the Monica IF24 connects seamlessly with a number of fetal monitors including the Philips Avalon2 FM30/ FM50 and the GEHC Corometrics3 173, 174 and 250 Series. The Monica AN24 is a small wearable device that connects to five disposable ECG electrodes placed on the patient’s abdomen The Monica AN24 communicates wirelessly via Bluetooth – no cables – with the Monica IF24 interface and charging device which connects via cables to fetal monitor transducer inputs.
