         Microtome produces quality, distortion-free sections on even the most difficult specimens. Chamber can cool from ambient to –20°C (–4°F) in 60 minutes, and features accurate temperature control at the knife edge. The –40°C (–40°F) quick-freeze plate accommodates numerous samples and provides convenient temperature readouts. Inside the cryostat chamber, the microtome is placed at a horizontal angle to provide greater visibility to the standing technician. The updated cabinet features inset sides and a steep front for increased user comfort, and a membrane control panel that is user- and glove-friendly. Shortened defrost time allows for higher productivity and efficiency. Manual or automatic defrost is available. Forward and reverse coarse movement of the specimen arm can be done manually or with a motor drive. The control switch for the motor drive can be held down for continuous movement or tapped for a 10mm (13/32") advance. The convection-cooled chamber is spacious and contains a large specimen freezing and storage space. Knife safety guard offers operator protection from injury. The microtome accommodates reusable knives or disposable blades.

3. 3.    Working Condition: …Powers on, frosting very well....Frozen Glass of water can be seen in the chamber......Maintaing over night temperature of -17°C (chamber) & -35°C for Plate, .....Little noisy compressor .....chamber light and control panel are working , Microtome looks fine .....can not test further …will receive item as pictured ……………(offered AS IS)
