     *Has been tested at our end, powers on and the 'Operational' light lights up which shows that the vaporizer is functional

     *Is displaying the 'Low Agent Level'. This means that there is less than 60ml of agent remaining in the sump and agent should be added. Once the agent is added, the vaporizer should work perfectly fine.

Know Your Product:

The Tec 6 is an electronic vaporizer which heats Desflurane to maintain constant temperature and vapor pressure for consistent output. It has an LED display which indicates vaporizer status - no output, low agent, warm-up, operational and alarm battery low. The Tec 6 also features several intrinsic vaporizer monitors and alarms that constantly monitor vaporizer status. 

The Tec 6 manages alarm priorities and offers improved tonal quality for alarm audio sounds while conveying alarm importance in sound sequence, visual color and flash rate. In addition, a distinctive audio tone will sound when the vaporizer can no longer deliver agent because AC power is disconnected. The Tec 6 incorporates a self-test system which checks a range of conditions each time the unit is turned on. 

The Tec 6 attaches to Datex-Ohmeda's interlocking Selectatec Manifold allowing clinicians to change vaporizer arrangement from case-to-case or move vaporizers from suite-to suite without the need for tools.
